We've just learned of The Fond Land Preservation Foundation. The Fond Land Preservation Foundation (the “Foundation”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to acquire open space in Los Angeles and/or Ventura Counties to enhance and protect the ecological and recreational enjoyment of open space for future generations by providing a site for the public. Acquired property will be dedicated in the name of Rosemary Ann Fond and her father Charles Fond. The Foundation was established in 2004 from the generous gift of Rosemary Ann Fond through her estate planning. To dedicate almost 500 acres of open space, there will be a Ceremony on Saturday May 10 at 9 am at the corner of Sunland Blvd. and the 210 Fwy.
